Nostalgia Gold
Just a *very* early demo without most of the gameplay features I want to put into it.
Object will be scouring record stores for nostalgic "solid gold" hits from the player character's youth. Streets will have enemies trying to prevent you from getting to the stores, stores will have a short time limit before the store closes and kicks you out.
A button does what will be the "victory pose", B button switches between the street scene and the shop scene (shop scene has placeholder graphics).
(A button is Z on keyboard, A on Xbox, Cross on PS4/5, B on Switch; B button is X on keyboard, X on Xbox, Square on PS4/5, Y on Switch)
Edit: Dammit, something went wrong with the music at the last minute -- I keep getting "BaseAudioContext.createBuffer: Length (0) is out of range" errors despite not having any audio-related code more complicated than play() and stop() -- so I muted the game until I figure out what is going on.
----------
City music is from the Commodore 64 game "Back to the Future".
Shop music is from the Commodore 64 game "Street Beat".
